Our network

DEN stands for collaboration and connection within the sector. That is why we contribute to various initiatives that align with our vision: a thriving cultural sector where digital innovation is a given. On this page, you will find a selection of our partners and collaborations.

Taskforce Collaborative Public Data

Cultural institutions can increase their artistic, economic, and social impact by working (together) in a data-driven way. The Taskforce Collaborative Public Data unites the strengths of parties within the cultural sector to enhance audience insights and knowledge about public data. The central question: How do we want to collaborate as a sector in the future in the field of public data? DEN director Maaike is the chair of this taskforce, and DEN advisors Linda and Gijs are the project manager and project leader.

Culture Desk DigitALL

DigitALL is a cultural fund that helps cultural institutions strengthen their connection with their audience through digital technology. DEN, Cultuur+Ondernemen, and Art-Up have knowledge that complements that of the participating funds within Culture Desk DigitALL. For example, about digital integrity, hybrid entrepreneurship, innovative working, and digital revenue models. As a knowledge partner, DEN helps applicants get started with knowledge about focusing on the intended audience, the project approach, the revenue model, and how the project impacts various aspects of the organization.

PublicSpaces

Software without Big Tech? PublicSpaces is working towards an alternative software ecosystem that represents the public interest, without profit motives. They aim to inform all privacy officers, CTOs, and ICT purchasers of public organizations about alternative tools based on public values. This way, they can make well-informed choices for ethical alternatives. DEN is a partner of PublicSpaces.

"Collaboration accelerates digital transformation. As DEN, we are therefore happy to join initiatives from and for the sector. To share knowledge and advance institutions."

Maaike Verberk, General Director DEN
