About Sophie
Sophie has broad knowledge within the cultural sector in the field of cultural education and knowledge development. As the program manager of the DEN Academy, Sophie is committed to broad knowledge sharing and training opportunities in the field of digital transformation. Collaboration and innovation are key. Sophie continuously looks for opportunities and connections to bring people together. Ultimately, there is a shared goal: a thriving cultural sector where the audience is central.
Previously, Sophie worked in various museums as an educator and in the field of digital audience engagement. Her experience with multimedia tours, videos, apps, and AR/VR, as well as with collaborations and innovative digital development projects, she brings together in her current role at DEN.
Additional activities: Sophie is a member of the Supervisory Board of the Zeeuws Museum.
