Invest in an agile organization so you can better respond to the changing needs of visitors and new digital developments. In this phase, working towards integration and measurability is an important step. You achieve this by making digital ambitions part of the organizational strategy and developing a method to measure results. For example, by working with dashboards. Below you will find information to help you move forward on the five components from the scan. Component 1: Strategy and budget

Incorporate digital initiatives into organizational objectives. Continuously encourage and facilitate new digital projects and align them with your strategy. Additionally, develop a method to evaluate digital initiatives: assess both the process and the outcome against your strategy. Ensure that budget remains structurally available to achieve digital objectives; subsidies can contribute to this.

Component 2: Culture and competencies

Digital transformation requires an innovative organizational culture. Strengthen this through iterative working, space for developing new ideas, collaboration, and open communication. Secure the learning organization by promoting and facilitating learning and development and by bringing in new competencies when filling vacancies. Also, invest in facilities for online collaboration between departments and teams and with other organizations.

Component 3: Audience and value

What added value do you want to create with your digital strategy? Invest in structural collaboration with organizations inside and outside the sector that add value to digital ambitions and for the audience of the future.

Component 4: Data and technology

Data works best when everyone understands it. Ensure that insights from audience and organizational data analyses are widely available within the organization, for example, via dashboards.

Component 5: Processes and structure

Strengthen co-creation by bringing IT and other organizational units together in multidisciplinary project teams. Don’t have the knowledge in-house? Collaborate with internal colleagues and external partners. Build structurally towards an online community for knowledge sharing and opportunities for collaboration.
